Who are NVS?
NVS is the market leader in veterinary wholesaling and distribution. Since 1989 we have distributed products to animal health practices and approved outlets across the UK.
Our stock includes more than 12,000 products, including pharmaceuticals, instrumentation, pet products and accessories. Spitfire House, our state-of-the-art warehouse and distribution facility is home to National Veterinary Services and the headquarters of the NVS Group.
The Challenge
For our move to our state-of-the-art warehouse and distribution facility, we required a variety of storage/picking trays. These trays needed to be suitable for our flow racking and picking shelves, for products of all different sizes and specifications.
The Solution
 I met Roy and the Springpack team on my visit to the NEC Intralogistex intralogistex exhibition 2023.Â
Springpack provided NVS with an eco and cost-friendly storage solution for our state-of-the-art warehouse and distribution facility.
They made suggestions for solutions to save money and optimise our storage space. We were able to custom print our branding, which was easy and no alteration was too much trouble to find the perfect finished design.
Communication with the team at Springpack was easy and they were very helpful. Our order was complex, but nothing was too much trouble, and the many changes were managed professionally, with a recommendation of the best solution for our needs.
Our order was fulfilled on time, and we look forward to working with them on future orders.
The Results
The cardboard pick bins are a sustainable solution which is robust enough to stand our busy warehouse operation.
The custom-printed logos look smart and professional. We have had great feedback from the operations team that they have been a critical part of our move to our new facility.
Having the products ready to deploy in our new facility enabled us to fulfil our customer orders quickly.
