Why did you choose to work with Springpack?
Springpack were able to provide all the consumables we required, but it’s important for us to be sustainable, and think about the products our consumers and retailers receive. We are aiming to eradicate all single use plastics from the business by 2025, and Springpack will help us achieve this.
How have Springpack improved your packaging operational efficiency with the new packing area and machines?
The new products and machines in place have helped in taking the first steps to becoming more sustainable. It has also increased the amount of space and light in the packing areas. Therefore, this has made for better working conditions for the staff.
How have Springpack improved your packaging operational efficiency with the new packing area and machines?
To date we have removed 11,000 rolls of poly tape! Additionally, we have also removed hundreds of rolls of plastic void fill, sourcing sustainable FSC approved products instead. This has resulted in better, more sustainable products and processes. Also, it means nearly 3 tonnes of plastic is removed from our logistics each year! The branded paper tape and machine is great for both sustainability and marketing, as the customers know it’s a package from Raleigh when it lands in their shops.
